Green Shoots

Painted Wood & Nails (41x26x10)

A work or works in progress and owing something to a painting by Paul Nash "We are Making a New World" 1917
The piece is made of Wood & Nails (dipped in corporation green paint) with the exterior of the boxes painted either white or dispatch box red and the interior either white or dull green.
The branches/trees can be fastened to the inside or outside of the boxes to create different compositions and variations.
Some boxes have drawings of elements to simulate the terrain of the Nash painting.
